Lilace JP54sp TR17 6.3 19 delta

Brilliant arvo with Shane,  Morts and a guest appearance by tailwind.

Water was fairly low but it was soooo much fun.

Great to have Andrew visiting, I suspect he has some good numbers to post.

My delta technique needs some attention, I managed more than 1 spin out event per run, each time costing me speed. I tried the last 15  minutes (out of 80 minutes sailing) on the inside flatter water across the bay area near the road, that was not included in my hour so the middle run was the fastest for me today.

Lilacs, Albany, WA, AU

Koncept 6.2, Sonic 85L + FF24

Fun sail with Cliff, Shane,  Steve & Andrew a Pinanaroo who is down on a family holiday but brought his windsurfing gear "just in case" Wink Great to meet & sail with you Andrew!

Normally would have been on the Delta 19 but opted for the FF24 instead. SOOOO much grip!!! The abilty to crank upwind when you want to & no spinouts for the day was certainly noticeable compared to the Delta. Speedwise in our typical Easterly I don't think the FF is much if any slower than the Delta. Did get a few aggressive tugs from some of the long stringy weed but I think in those wind/tide conditions I'm hoping to run the FF20 in the future.

Pretty happy with the hour as I was gybing at the carpark which makes the run 400-500m shorter.

Millpond no more!

Great day to finally sail the legendary Albany smooth, not a big wind day but enough to enjoy the experience. It was good to meet Jeremy, Steve and Shane. Too bad about the sail Shane. Unfortunatley in my dash home I made the rookie error of not switching off my GPS. Hopefully I can get it fixed.

Good to meet you Andrew. Easyvmistake to make with the gps. Just takes a bit of magic with gps results or similar to delete the drive. Unfortunately i cannot assist until next weekend. Hope you get more wind this week.

Gee Shane your really doing your best to try & mortally wound that poor 6.4.

Fangy I'm still a Millpond as Shane & Steve told me it was heaps windier on Saturday & they both did 40 plus 5x10 but only posted lower speeds so I didn't feel sad at missing out.

Evets, you can fix that delta by adding a fillet. We did Oath's and he says, it's a different fin altogether. Goes upwind, doesn't spin out.

Great session guys, lifted us several pts and you get all the jelly beans between you.

Crikey Morts you had a impressive session - especially that hour on short runs! Excellent crayon work and always nice to hear a FangyFin doin' its thing, I am working on your FF20 right now Laughing

Very impressive numbers all round. Morts, you must have had the energisers plugged in.

Thanks for looking after Andrew.

You are going to love the FF 20 Morts, especially with that combo. Loads of grip when powered up and faster than the 24 and much faster than the manufacturer.
