Nev Reeves Handicap day. Wind played with us today. Planed most of the first lap upwind then slow ville from there on. 11metre sails are damn heavy. Last lap was torture but surely will help my fitness.

Nice roll up to acknowledge Nevs contribution to the club.

Marmong Point, NSW, AU Nevil's hard yakka handicap race. By the time we got underway (late due to flat battery in start / rescue boat) wind dropped to 4-8 knts. Supprise, half the field vanished not realising the terriffic exercise value to be hadEmbarassed. Congrats Glenn. You circled the field.

Formula 159 deb 70 maui 9.2 m.

Our handicap regatta went off in light breezes. The first round was not as bad but the second one has really slowed down. I still enjoyed the ride when occasionally got a lift and then really pulled away.

Would love to try it in a more even breeze. Using my NP alu  foil under the formula and only a 7.8m sail. I feel the good times are coming with the foils yet!

8.4 / Foil - Too light to get flying but enjoyed the day on the water anyway
