fangy (22667km):
2324 days ago 1 categories Fangyland for a quick splash before another attempt at responsible parenting. Tide was around 50cm which is close to perfect for the outside weedbanks, but unfortunately Huey was asthmatic yet again, so I chucked in the usual combo; Barge, Koncept 7.5, FF24
Highlight was catching Iain 'Dryasabone' standing in a knitting circle just outside the weed banks and then I indulged in a little spray as I went past. In turn, Karma then caught me unawares, and I had a reasonably spectacular 'off' gybing as a my back foot slipped off the board. Cap'n Calm, Sammy and Basil were heading out to join Fin as I came in. Hopefully there was enough puff left for them to enjoy.
A quick session, but it was still a good one and another Top Ten Fangy Day

2324 days ago Fun SAil at Point Grey, Fave gear Mistral Speed 95/55TR9 6.3m (Fave sail) Pepeweed 20/48, where to sail Sunday the big dilemma? Whats the storm surge and tide level that makes Australind too choppy?

Decrepit (54506km):
2324 days ago 1 categories Well that was a fun groove in the smooth, even though I should have used the 53 instead of the 48. The 6.2 would probably still have been ok, but I'd have needed the 20 filleted weedy instead of the 19. Should have gone in and changed after the first run, but fangy gave me hope that it could pick up.

Wimpy Basil went with 5.8. Underdone.
When the wind finally decided to put in an appearence some enjoyable if short runs were had.
Was joined by mum dolphin and her little one on my last run in.
On the first run out I surprised a ray which splashed me as it fled to safety.

Stretch (30716km):
2323 days ago Glory Holes, Australind, WA, AU. Not much wind, but good to get out for a brief fang.
Highlight for me was Lachy trying out his small board, an Xcite Ride 95 (58W) for this first time. He handled it no worries and also nailed his first deep water waterstart
