An unexpected session in the "smooth". Stronger than yesterday, which was a real surprise. Ed would have been close to cracking a smile. Shame he's doing the family thing in Tasssie!!!!

A very nice 15 - 18 knts - with the stronger breeze out wide. Decided that my HSM GPS 7.3 was going to get its first full session. If im going to learn to love it, ive got to use it!!!! Great little session. In and out for the first few times, adjusting harness lines, etc, etc. Fell off and took my time getting it up out of the water....wow, that took some energy. Those luff pockets sure do hold some water!!! But, overall, i must say, I really did enjoy the experience. A little more tuning, a bit more more practice on the gybes and I reckon we will be smashing it.

Great arvo with Fred, Ben and Pete.

Used - 125 AHD Diamond, 7.3 HSM GPS, 49 S10.

Starboard Futura 122 NP Fusion 7.2 Black Project 47.5

Had a quick look at the forecast this morning and was pleasantly suprised!  Wind conditions ended up being much better than yesterday.  Opted for the Futura board and more practice on the water starts- starting to feel more confident with these.  Really enjoying the Futura board as it cuts through the chop and feels far more responsive than the ol' Exocet 135.

I have decided 1km over the Holloway's "Smooth" = 2km over the GI Tropical Paradise Fun Runs!  In saying this, conditions were pretty good at Holloways today.  Gotta love the wind shimmers over the water...talk about putting a horn on a jellyfish!

Feeling sorry for Ed as he has missed a few great sessions lately...

All in all, a fun sesh with Billy, Freddo & Peter.

Nice sail with Troy and the lads. Not too fit but got a good afternoons worth in. Swapped rigs and board a bit so probably best speed on Troys carbonart.

Nice little afternoon sail at Holloways with Billy,Bennie and Pete.

Lucky for us , Eddy did not take the wind Gods with him to Tassie and have come out to play.....just a little.Wink

Not sure if the internet gets down to where you are Edd .....hope all is going well.

Getting wind this time of the year is a bonus ,but not knowing if the rain may come and take it away is the concern

but the crew have turned out over the last couple of days and lapped it up.

I think Pete had an 8.6 sail up yesterday...certainly got to give him some credit for holding on to it ...great effort Pete.

Numbers wern't to bad either.

Billy ...was good to see you perserving with the 'maui 7.3' and getting on top of it.....looked the business on the water.

Bennie on his new Futura is making some real progress.....good things are coming!!

Might get another session in before Xmas...if not merry xmas to all and look after yourselves over the festive session.

Sorry for the late entry...rushed home after gasbagging to go out for tea.

Isonic 117,loft 7.3 s/blade,sting 2-44.

Nice little arvo gents - great effort on getting out this late in the season. Sure is a pity that Ed missed out. Missed you Ed Innocent .

Still i bnit miffed why my two half decent alpha's didnt record. Looked at the tracks, maybe one was outside the 50m return ????

Good to see you guys out on the water and getting some good end of the year sessions. Should keep everyone keen for a big season next year. Less work more play. Cheers Ed.

in the end it was a nice wind yesterday. The  wind forcasts were changing every couple of hours . Shame i couldnt make it.  Billy and Fred, I think your GPS's are talking to each other, how else can you explain the close numbers week after week.

Nice session lads!

It's a shame to miss out on any wind this time of year, I hope we can get a few days in over the holidays!
