A fun session with a large crew and a good bunch of Pinnaroos at Melville. Gybe practice over the bar again. I felt I made real progress in this session but the big hole in the wind before the bar made it difficult to get any good speed for alphas. I did get some good ones for me but they were too wide. Note to self - more carve next time.

Cottesloe, WA

Foiling fun at Dutchies in 18 knots. Moved the rear straps in by about 8cm - helps to get the rear foot more over the foil downwind.

Managed a few gybes - carving around on the foil feels magic.

A nice summer day sailing at Melville, lots of crew out enjonying the day.

Safety Bay, WA, AU

Fun little fang around at Safety Bay in a moderate (18-22K) seabreeze.

Set-up was on the money...M112 + 7.6 TR9 + 33 Tribal WS.

A few bearaways down the inside of the bank, but not many bona fide speed runs, there wasn't enough pressure for big bearaaways.

Tried for alphas, but full planing gybes were hard to come by, with a lot of traffic on the weed bank.

My son had a fun sail also, I love that Safety Bay caters for both of us

Turned out to be a nice summer breeze at the local. Wind was light when I arrived so rigged big. Wind steadily picked up to about 20-23 knots and was well powered up in the gusts. Good to catch up with Chris Porter, Anita and the One legged bandit who did some great numbers despite the injury.

Magic Ride 104, NCX 6.5, Delta XT 18 and Vitesse 28 weedy.

Watermans Beach, Kode 94, Ezzy 5.8. Nice bump and bounce. A few more knots of wind would have been great.
