Melville, MAch 1 7.0, Pat AI 115, Carp 34, Fun little sail down the river. Got out early, keen to try the new sails. They are so sweet :). First impressions are how light they feel in your hands whie sailing, rotation is some of the best i have ever had. Very happy with my xmas presents.
|Nelson (26625km): |
Exocet Cross 94L with 6.5M T-bird (now deceased) & 34 EX
Gusty as all whatsit but a fun sail, the Exocet is sweet in those conditions
First off in a couple of years on my last run in as it was getting a bit over the top & BAM, crashed into the sail & put my knee through the bottom panel & possibly my hand through the next one up. They were the only panels without tape Officially DEAD now!
Overall fun day out

Well that was pretty gusty, intense and short! Had a crash at about 34 knots and twisted my foot....thus only 6.95 km...bugger. Will be swollen tomorrow but I think it was a relatively lucky escape.....

Well that was crap - way too gusty for me & I should have just watched - but you always want to sail, right.
Also had my all time favourite sail destroyed by Nelson - bugger. Luckily I have another one hidden.
Way to go Taj - great stuff.
Nauli wins the off specky of the day.
