10-19kts ENE Peel st Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU

7m R9 OD - 87ltre isonic - 24cm FF

 then RS4 ( 111ltre)

After the horrendous boat wake on Lake Macquarie yesterday I decided to go to nice flat Budgy..Laughing It was still busy with picnickers including one family who had an awning right where we usually launch.. Must be summer holidays..Wink

1st use of the 7m and it went well. More grunt than the NCX I'd been using and rotated well. I did notice the slight increase in weight as I've been using no cammed / twin cammed larger sails / or smaller sails lately. My gybes weren't as good today due to the extra weight.

Not enough for bearaways but I tried..Undecided I even sat in the water waiting to try and line up a gust.. Oh well it was fun.

Belmont Bay (Slipways), NSW, AU

8.4, 136 46 zulu

still in the east, flick NE at the end but still patchy, I think it has something to do with ocean temp, warmer sea less delta between air and sea = less dense wind
