Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU. CA 225L, Maui 9.3, Kestral 26.

Funny kind of session, So lite at begining I nearly went straight to the pub, then 2/3rds through I thought of changing to new board, then ended up putting all the back to base with hardly any wind?

Great fun sailing with Mentor Micko, Troy, Pugsly, Gareth, old Pete, Later came Wayno and Norm but I think it was done by then?

Cut Sick Marauders!!!!

Happy New Year Everyone Lets hope Huey delivers BIG TIME?Cool

Arrived at 2.15pm and is was not very windy so I rigged the HSM 7.3 with JP 108 and 21 Delta. Plenty out.

Funny thing was everyone started coming in as I was heading out.....looks like I missed the best if it but it was still nice sailing. Sailed mainly with Troy, Norm and Dave C.

Super flat water.

Tried a new spot with Johnny very rough with 1m high chop but it has possibilities for a hour as it has long runs! Wind stopped as the clouds came in.

Patrik 140, Simmer 7.8m and 42 JP Weedy.

JP 112 + 22 delta + 7.8 loft sail

Had a good session, thought about coming in a couple of times and going for a smaller combo looking for more speed but glad a stayed out.  Too many light spots and would have been time wasted onshore.  I would have stayed out a little longer though I noticed my fantasic sail repairs were giving up, they haven't been out in that strength of breeze.  All in all, I propably did more k's today then I've done all year.

Another piss weak nor'easter, just no oomph to the wind. Where are these traditional summer nor'easters? Global warming? Cows farting? Who knows?

Starboard Carve 145, Pride Diablo 7.4 Freeride, 320mm weedfin - Wallis Lake, NSW, AU.

Pretty place to sail and had it all to myself, bar one guy on a Windsurfer One Design. Was a little underdone in the first hour with the 7.4, then it kicked another 5 knots and was quite a bit of a handful in the chop. Unfortunately, it seemed that the weed bank there just doesn't match the angle needed for a NE'er. Almost as soon as I got going in some flat(ish) water, it was time to gybe / round up / fall off or have a rest.....!

Undoubtably worth a trip every once in a while, though.
