Bog, SSW 14-22kts.

i97, BPR325 and maiden voyage of 6.2m Severne Mach 1. First impressions are good - rock solid rocket. Only negative was cams need alot of convincing to rotate- suspect I can fix that with tuning. But dayum does it pull. Always more in it if you just sheet harder. Looking forward to spending time on it.

Good representation on the water today, plenty of punters and a better than expected breeze. Nice opener 2018!

used all my gear today 7.4,6.5,5.8, got up to top of lake, big flock of birds, must be 1000, scattered them, then got becalmed for 20 mins, another 20 getting back, and as usual the wind then kicked in, rigged the wave gear and had fun, a ex turnout sailors . good runs by chris and trousers with his chrissy present a new severne, good to see jacko another grand master.

Boggy lake, fair few guys out again today, Shane with his spaken new Mach 1, nice.  used the 7 mtr severne unit for something differant, with the x-fire and 38 speed weed. then onto the isonic 97 with the 34 canefire for about 20 k's. nice sailing day. 15-18 knots i reckon.

Boggy Lake, SA, AU

Been awhile since on the water and it showed today. Tried the 92 and 6.3 first but could not get going. Put the 115 on the  6.3 and went over to the weed beds. As soon as I got their the wind filled in and could not keep board on the water ( over fined) and got smashed.  Should have stayed on the 92 and waited for the wind to come back in.

Need more time on the water to get sailing fitness back.

Hey Trousers, sometimes just half an inch more downhaul is all that is required to get those cams to rotate nicelyLaughing
