Picked up my new sails today and went straight out for a quick sail on the new 7.0m Overdrive M1 in a NE'er at Dorans. Sail rigged really nicely and felt great! A few others out enjoying an unusually strong NE wind at Dorans!

Expected epic conditions considering Dunally was consistently showing around 31 knots gusting to 37, but the lagoon wind must have taken a summer holiday as I was often seriously underdone on the 6.2. Last night had a bright idea and took the router to the iSonic 115 and increased the size of the cutouts - seems to have done the trick, cross-wind speed appears to have gone up by a couple of knots, and the ride has softened up considerably. Not enough wind on the weedy beds to test out a full on bearaway though. Felt underfinned with the vector 27, but changed to the Tribal 31 at the end of the session and it was great  . iSonic 115, SR 6.2, VDWS27/Tribal WS31
