Coodanup, WA, AU

An inspection of the wildlife was conducted today and Iam pleased to report that a good deal of it is still both wild wild and alive and generally in good condition apart from some rather suspicious looking shore dwellers who were posing as the three wise ? men.

I despair for the least wise of them ,the young fangster.Having provided a clear career path for him as a board caddy I was disapointed to see that he did not take advantage of the offer so clearly presented today. With a little imagination he could have extended that career to include the caddying of complete rigs. Consequently I finished that day in despair and fear for the future of the young fangster. Perhaps we have set our sights to high for him and it may be better for all concerned if he is taken into the care of some kindly institution.

The sailing was not that flash either.

Tabou ROcket wide 104L, NP RSR E7 7.0m jp weed 36cm

Short little session this evening before the wind backed of.

More gybing practise at Liptons, this time wityh the board which is a bit of my gybing nemisis, my first gybe thasnkfully didn't set the tone for the day as I ate shit when my clown shoe got stuck in the foot strap leading to a good stumble and better face plant.

The clown shoes were giving me a bit of grief due to a strap being a touch tight but easily fixed.

Twas nice justy running back and forth over the miny lumpy goodness in the channel with some nice gybing water at each end aklthough a bit light at the Pt Grey side with the wind direction.

Drecided to flag it when it started to get a bit sketchy on Point Grey, nice to be wanting to be out on the water for the first time this week due to a headache which has hung around since Sunday.

Good times.

Big contracts to Greg who got himself a good milestone out there tonight and came in with a big shit eater grin.Cool

Basil, you have to remember Fangy is a Uni student.

Now dealing with a Uni student is like dealing with a 15 year old pre schooler who knows how to say a lot of big words with no idea about what they mean (realistically they have no idea about most things).

There is often a misplaced superiority complex involved as well.

Instruct carefully, make them think it's their idea (it'll be a lonely little thing) speak softly, a gentle whack around the back of the bonce with a 30cm mast extesnion won't go astray either.

If that all fails just remind them where Macdonalds is for when the finish their course and are looking for work.

Have to fess up to being one of the 3 unwise men, knew I should have gone to liptons instead of spending the afternoon watching Basil floating around.

Breeze just didn't make it to Fangys, stayed SE the whole time.
