Mackay, QLD, AU

Unexpected morning session, breeze better than forecast and the showers stayed away. Had a great powered up B&J session in the waves with Phil, then threw on the slalom board for the last of the tide for peak speeds. Could have milked another 20 minutes of sailing out of the tide but had nothing left in the tank. 6.5 Ezzy Lion + Fanatic FSW then CA SL58 Tribal WS25 at the end.

Clifton Beach, QLD, AU Great fun off my home beach in 15-20 knots .Jp 2015 93 RSR e 7 Tribal sw31.Cool

Life Guard kindly came up to me on the beach after I'd safely landed to tell me it was his duty to warn me about marine stingers ....Hmmmm   The fact that I was covered from neck to feet must have been overlooked ...!!

Clifton Beach, QLD, AU

Fun sail off the beach and Double Island.

Chickened out and rigged the 6.2 as it looked strong enough and very rough, missed the lack of power once at the Island Embarassed

Still good fun even with the dredge back and walk of shame to get back.

Used 2018 Isonic 90, Overdrive R8 6.2 and Tribal SW 29Cool

Clifton beach...with Doc Cam ,Kel,Billy and Gaz come out to offer some tuition....which was greatly accepted.

Cam and Kel managed to sail over the reef 'flats but Billy and I wern't that fortunate and sailed in the rough (the trip over and back)

Was very rough and I am sure next time we will be sailing along side them.

Thank you Doc for the drinks/hospitality....you're a good guy. Appreciated.

Nice to see a good a effort was made by the FNQ mob today to get us back on the score board..Hey Cam hope those boys didn't totally trash your beer fridge...Have had to spend some serious cash to get back on the water as all my toys are broken but will be back out in the big pool soon. Cheers Ed. 👍

Oh Mandurah, you have spoilt me !!!!!  First time in Cam's backyard....might be the last !!! My goodness, it was rough. Tried valiantly to sail over at Double Island but just could'nt get myself organized. Made a real botch of rigging today - to much downhaul, to much out haul ending up with a very twitchy rig that just didnt want to fire. A couple of huge launches off some rather large looking swell lines had me spooked. Ended up spending the rest of the arvo with Gaz looking at my tuning and coming up with a much better looking rig - for which I am grateful - Thanks for your time Gaz. Tried one last attempt late in the seesion to get over in dying winds and was really struggling so gave it away.

Wont bother posting official figures. Used HSM GPS 7.3, CA SL108, 40 Sting 2.

Good effort for the summer season boys. Doesn't blow much up there at this time of year. Don't worry about the stingers, its the crocs you have to watch out for. Those things break fins!!!!
