My Journy is over and iv'e returned home.

LG ,  SSW 14 to 18 maybe, usual old gear F2stoke 117, 30 select weedy, 6.6 KA Koncept. gear was perfect,

just spent the session dialing in my gybes very happy to do all full planing ones for the session, maybe should have been on the water earlier.

good crew to sail with and great to catch up with old team mates.

nice and flat up the top just a pity the rain settled in and killed it,

much the same tmro and then maybe slalom gear later in the week.

Lake George, SA, AU

Day trip to LG, left at 5am, home by 9pm. 800km round trip.

iS87 / 6.2 R7 / 31 BP weed speed (peak numbers)

iS87 / 6.2 R7 / 19 BP kestrel (interesting)

iS87 / mistral 47 / 24 Vector speed weed (too ambitious)

Started sailing with chronic back pain, and it took me a while to get the right balance of red bull and voltaren. I launched at the spit (the only one) and spent most of my runs sailing upwind to join the others who'd launched off the 5 mile. Met Kaleb and Dave from Tassie early on, then sailed back down to the spit to try different combos. The wind was only light at this point. Then it strengthened a little, and I easily made it back up to the 5 mile and said g'day to jimbob and daffy. Got onto a nice flat patch timed with a gust for my peak, then cruised back down to the spit sailing slightly off the wind in a dying breeze as the rain started to fill in a bit more. Packed up then stopped at the 5 mile for a catch up with Hamma, Choco and Jimbob. Next time I'll just launch from the 5 mile as the best flat water is really up that end of the lake...

Well done Chris. Nice peak and distance mate. 4 odd hours in the water. Good effort mate. Well done. Surprised by the lack of wind. Bit of a bummer but still looks like you had fun and got decent numbers
