Well I thought I'd improved in the last 3 years but maybe not...

I couldn't get upwind back then and I was useless today...hopefully I'll improve or I won't be able to get up to the top to bearaway..pretty demoralising.. oh well...

Probably should have been on the 87ltre and 6.6m with a smaller fin.

We started lateand I did one run on the 5m where I got a few fully powered puffs but really underpowered inbetween and i decided to come back in to rig up. Dogged in and the rain hit which killed it..hung around and it came back in again so rigged up to the 6.2m. Got upwind ok in the gusts but too many lulls and couldn't get back to the launch so went to 5 mile.

Chop was pretty small max about 6" with a lot of flatter stuff. Good launch although the 28cm was picking up bucketloads of weed at times so i think I'll try a BP50 tomorrow to see if that helps ( although I'm told that will make my upwind ability even more woeful )

The lake is clean and very weedy ..weird..I jumped off once and it's almost impossible to move as it wraps around your thighs.. a spongy type of matt..

16 degrees and raining . Tomorrow I'll take more warm clothes..brr

 I really enjoyed the hot fish and chips and shower later and the tent hadn't leaked so that was good. 

Well the only way is up!
