Something wrong here. The GT31 was making noises a lot. "card not found" & something else I wasnt quick enough to see. I was powered on a 7.8 in gusts and way quicker than yesterday. Oh well I dont really care but disappointing.

Along with that it all went downhill!!! Out in the middle up high and suddenly bang!!! Mast snapped at the boom. OK, time for a swim. The boys stopped to see if I was OK and Alan tried to tow me in in with me holding onto his back strap. Too gusty.

So I swam dragging a full of water folded in half 7.8 back to a sandbar. Then waded in enough to shallow water to derig and tie it all onto my board. very happy I keep a meter or so of old Formula line wrapped around  spreader bar. Then the long slow paddle back balancing on all my gear tide down. All good and I didnt have to derig.
