Peter (48215km):
2224 days ago SPI North Flats. Falcon 99, RB 6.3, BPWS 38. SSE wind and increasing tide. Heard lots of 28 knots on the head phone going out so went for an hour, but the wind did not quite cooperate, with holes at the start and a big increase towards the end (Nina was overpowered on her 4.5 FS sail, rigged down to 4.0, and still was overpowered). Increasing chop made it hard to keep speed and I started messing up jibes. Did not even get a great mile, since I always had to slow down after a km or so. Fun, but not as good as our north wind / low tide sessions there. Grassy point in Corpus probably would have had steadier wind and better chop. Look like we'll get a chance to test that on Wednesday.
