Lunch time hour of power before the rain hit.
LG Reunion with Jet and Dezza. Terry, as usual, was already on the water. One of the foiling boys having fun out the back...

Windfoil
Another fun foil session finding my limits. Plenty of spills today but its all part of the learning curve. When i get comfortable I like to push it a touch more, then splat lol. New 2 sec foil PB Did it on the GT, although did have my first little stint on the Slalom foil just before the rain. Its will go faster for sure once o fell ready to send it Nice to see you Dezza. I was in sneaky stelth mode

Dezza was there, the lunch time boys, Stu was looking down from high, and the arvo shift.
MT arrived just as the rain, still some wind out there. Is the Nudie Taxi still on call?

Tezza & Dezza already out. Spotted Stu "foiling in the deep". Got in just before the rain hit. Looks like it has kicked in stronger from the SE, Bugger!!

Rain hit as I arrived, had to wait a bit so there was enough wind to get planing with the 7.0, then the rain got stronger, found some clear glasses in the car so I could see, rain then cleared and finally the wind got a bit stronger. A good little session out in the middle in the big chop with the slalom fin just as the wind shifted more SE but the weed was floating through in massive clumps which became a bit annoying. I had the last few runs as Matt appeared from Kanahooka side.

Wind was howling on the coast but not much in the lake by the arvo once the rain had settled in. Great to catch up with MT again for a quick sail. But I managed to brake the boge joint rubber on the base about 2kms out in the middle. Thankfully this time there was enough rubber attached to slowly float in without having to paddle the board dragging the whole kit again. I know I should try and change this peice every two years but as is the case with this one I will probably forget when it was purchased later on down the track.
