Foreshore Rd, Botany, NSW, AU 15-33kt W || 118 Manta, 5.6OD, 40 Vector Volt

Strong and gusty (like, angry gusty!) to begin with and it took a bit to re-acquaint with conditions as such. Mainly straight west but a few degrees of north or south in it at times. First decent hit out with a fin this small in the Manta - the Volt matching the combo and the conditions well. Thought there'd be a bit more in the 2sec peak, but thrilled to bag another 20 alpha!

Well done Andrew.  Nice alpha compared to top speed.   Would have been good yesterday, didn't expect and van was being worked on, so I missed out.

Just steer clear after rain for a couple of days! Massive sewer overflow just downstream of the Botany wetlands that discharges into the corner, I got sick as a dog last time I sailed there after rain (should have known better!).
