2209 days ago 1 categories Kennedy Slicks, Cape Cod. Overdress a bit since the water was 30 F colder than last time I sailed, but at least I was warm. Made the mistake of believing the forecast, so waited until the water level got high enough for the Kennedy Slicks. Had one good run, then the wind started dropping. Squeezed 3 more in before all whitecaps had disappeared, and going out without again an uphaul did not seem wise. The wind picked up again as soon as I got home, and blew all afternoon. I should have known that the drop would be more pronounced than forecast, and that it would pick up like crazy after it turned from SW to WSW, it (almost) always does. Still good to get out. Cold water is always worse in the imagination than in reality.

Choppy conditions at the bay but super fun place to sail.
