Lake Cootharaba, QLD, AU 7.5 koncept 112 rrd
Went out on the 122 first but it was too choppy so came in to change boards. When I came out with the 112, I couldn’t see Greg or Peter anywhere so I sailed down the lake looking for them and then back up past the yacht club looking but still no sign so I stopped to look better and consider my options. When I was flipping the sail over I looked towards the caravan park and saw a severne sail being walked in.i wasn’t sure if it was a camper or Greg or Peter. I decided to go in and get the van and drive round to check it out as there was still no sign of them on the lake. When I got back in Peter was at his ute in pain. He had an “off” and landed on the boom and mast luckily Greg had seen him and they had both walked in near the caravan park. I was relieved to find them but Pete was off th hospital for x rays
Had a bit more of a sail but it was still pretty choppy and the wind was slowly dropping.

Lake Cootharaba, QLD, AU...RRD 112..7.8 o/d...Checked out Weyba first but far too easterly. As things turned out,Cootharaba was the better choice. No worries Pete, rest up and make pain your friend..

Sailed too far down towards Golden Beach and wind stopped then uphaul rope broke so I had to swim for a bit to get to a sand bank then swapped gear with Mum and manage to sail back ok.

Lake Cootharaba, QLD, AU. Was having a reasonable sail until a gust lifted me & crashed into rig, unfortunately broken rib, no sailing for a month. Thanks for helping me in Greg to the caravan park & derigging & packing gear. Managed to drive to Noosa Hospital for X-rays & then home.
