Windfoil, Foilville/Waylen Bay

Very on and off but still worth getting out for a fly.

I started on the small wing but changed over as the breeze started to fade a tad.

Sean came out later and suggested a swap over. Nice to compare the Carbon vs wood, the carbon was noticeably lighter when pumping and during flight while the North Warp 7.7 was so light and grunty.

foilville

long time between posts again thanks to the catch on my old trusty gt31 giving up in sydney at foil nats

so finally got myself a GW60 and pretty impressed but I'm still falling for the same old tricks (forgot to put the data logger on) Foot in mouth

nice to still be able to get some usefull numbers out of it, but most of all it was actualy just super satisfying to be able to have a quick look at the speed whenever I wanted to mid flight SurprisedLaughing awesome feeling especialy on such a beautiful day like today with just barely enough wind to get myself and craig up and about, but not another soul out to disturb our super smooooooooth waterCool

anyway no excusses now with a new gps and a new winter wetsuit also today should be all ready for a full on foiling winter Tongue out

always interesting to have a go at someone elses kit, I guess I shouldn't have been surprised but our equipment felt quite similar with maybe the wings on the deck of my board and the differences between sail brands being the only real talking points

but hey nothing much more to say other than everyone who wasn't out there flying around today was missing out big time

7.7 warp, 135 JP HF, NP F4 foil

I am happy to hear you are wired for speeds again Sean, and also that you are enjoying yourself so much.

I manage such big bruises sailing at water level, I don't think I should try sailing above it.
