Was expecting leisurely 15-20kts foiling conditions and only put the slalom board in at the last minute this morning. Way overpowered on the twitchy wave sail and spent more time in the water waiting for lulls. But good to catch up with Tezza and Jet with Jet making it look easy as usual. RDO tmrw so will be more prepared.

Unexpected Ballistic Session @ Primbee, NSW, AU

Saw the change come through from work and headed down to see Terry already out and Matt rigging. Hit the water with Naish SP95, Gun GSR 6.3, UFO 26/50. It was fun for about 30mins, then went off the dial. The Holfuy was reading 25-44kts. There were some moments I couldn't beach start on the 6.3. As Terry headed in I followed him and changed to iSonic W49, Simmer SC Speed 5.8, UFO 20/50/10. I was back out with Matt after about 10 minutes, but the water had risen about a foot in 10 minutes due to the crazy strong wind and was now knee deep on the flats. I had a few tentative bearaways but it was way too choppy, especially for a 20cm fin. Didn't stick my neck out and did a few more runs until 10 minutes past sundown. If only we could get that sort of wind with flat water!!!

Chuffed with the alpha PB, that was on the SP95.
