Went out with the 7m, was all good until I got lifted and slammed in what turned out to be one of the gusts of the day. Went in to rig down to 6.2 but my shiny new 5.5 was already rigged so I took the lazy option. Never was really enough for it but stoked just to be able to use it for the first time. Met many more local legends today, too many to list.
Drove home after sailing, 7 hours with three stops. It has been an excellent trip, thanks for all the hospitality and fun times!
