 7m M1- Rs4 ( 111ltres) - 43 makani weedie

then 87ltre isonic - 24cm FF

 Another dud at Canton.Still a bit dodgy from a bad headcold so I under rigged. It was predicted to get to 15-18kts so i rigged up the 87ltre but decided to take the big board out instead.

Planed 15% of the time? It would have been a bit better with the 7.5m but probably still only 40%..

I survived without any health issues and remembered how to gybe. Probably  lucky I wasn't powered up as I found the few planing runs hard work with the flu..

 Started with the makani but it was picking up bucketloads of floating seagrass so I came in to change to the 24cm FF. There looked to be a little wind before some rain so as I had the 87 ready with the 24FF I just plugged that in.

 There is a 30' wide strip of seagrass along the beach which makes it hard work getting out and it's starting to stink. The council are working their way along cleaning it out.

 I've never seen so many swans! Hundreds! Unfortunately I scared them all off as I went out..

 Well at least I improved on my last session..
