Getting back on it and pushing harder, solid day in the crazy wind and chop the Gorge is dishing up this year. Switched to the more swept Raven 30 fin to get the nose up a bit more and powering through the chop. Worked a treat, totally effortless today and unlimited control. Was blowing 30 knots at times but the gear was rock solid and tuned in perfectly, never felt overpowered...just a comfortable day crusising round. Some huge logs in the channel that broke loose from the local lumber mill, made for some interesting slalom manouvers in the swells.
