Ed the fox is so good in choppy conditions, on the slalom boards my ankles get hammered but on the fox I could sail all day. Also you can charge through the chop with heaps of confidence as it doesn't get flighty like the pure slalom boards, the nose sits well clear and I never felt like I was going to bury it and I was pushing it hard. Gybes good as well. The stock fin does the job, it is powerbox so that might make the fins you have now obsolete. Strap positions are ok though I wouldn't mind if the front ones could be a bit further out on the rail, just a personel thing. If you get to demo one I'm sure you will like it.
