Port Douglas, QLD, AU Light wind session with Andrew and Ian..Andrew left all his big toys at home but managed to fleece a 7.5 m rig of Ian and get on the water..the boys had a resonable session considering the wind was a bit up an down..Ian was hard to catch when lit up on his Isonic. Andrew is ready to go to the next level with his sailing gunna start pushing him  again.. wind dropped out on sundown so it was game over..yer i guess it was  a bit of fun and a good catch up...117 isonic 7.8m gastra rig  big fin..cheers Ed

Port Douglas, QLD, AU

A nice afternoon at Port with Ed and Andrew.  The scuddy rain that was hanging around at 2pm disapeared and we had a rain free afternoon, although the wind was up and down, changing every 10 minuits.  Used the Is 117,  Severn Gator 7 M and a 45cm fin which gave me enough grubt to get through most of the luls. Must be cold down south as the Gold Coast Surf FX kiting crew were all over the beach but not to many on the water.

Had a great afternoon sailing with Ian and my mate, Ed.  The wind was all over the place - spose to be blowing 25 knots at Low Isles so put away the big gear and chucked in the small gear.  Got there and there was sweet stuff all.  Ian leant me his 7.5 twin cam and I put it on my atomiq =- had some good runs and then the wind died off for about 40 minutes - Ian and Ed were going nowhere = let Ian have a go on my board with his rig and he managed to have some good runs.  Then the wind kicked in some more and I had some very nice powered up runs - but it was all over the place.

Nice to hear y'all got out for a sail where the rich & famous frolic!  Met Freddo at Holloway's just after 2pm to check out the conditions (after being stuck at work for longer than expected) - bugger all wind about.

Fingers & Toes crossed for tomorrow!
