South Yunderup, WA, AU, TRX 7.0, Isonic 110, FF24 Nice day on the water with Roger Dodger, Fangman and Jake. Wind was a bit up and down but water condition was great and the NM runs got the heart rate up.

Princess Royal Harbour, WA, AU. Shoal Bay.  Went out at Lilacs first but GAF. A bleary eyed night shift Morts turned up for a yak, then Shane, who was heading to Shoal Bay. So, I derigged and followed Shane. Forecast was for increasing wind, but we actually missed the best of it. Anyhow, good to catch up with the Albany crew and get a couple of sails in.  Ff113/GPS7.3, Water COLD!!

Great day at Yunderup with Jonski, Fangy, Jake and Auz as a spectator. Not an epic day but a good solid winter sail with the usual ups and downs. Was going for nauties and the hour but the inconsistant wind and crap jybing put an end to a decent hour. Fangy was proving to be quite an athlete out there sailing non stop for quite some time,so hope it pays off with a PB for him. Best sail for quite some time.

South Yunderup with Jonski, Swindy and Jake. Good fun session - post more later.

Well that was a fun session, and a lot better than I expected. Swindy had suggested an hour, and I thought I would go for it. It required a lot more discipline than I usually display with no bear-aways on the gusts, maintaining height whenever I could, to ensure I could keep planing when the breeze dropped out. This strategy worked well until the 51 st minute when I simply came to a stop. And that was the end of the attempt…

I then had another 50 minutes that were even better, but I hadn’t paid enough attention to the time, and so screwed up the second hour as well. Yell

I am a little disappointed with the speeds, it certainly felt faster than that, but overall I had a really nice session cruising back and forth. For the first time I tried out my Kayaking Jacket over the top of my wettie in cooler conditions. It’s remarkably effective, and I can see why the fellas speak so highly of the sailing jackets. I was bordering on too hot at times!

Highlight - watching Swindy and Jonski bear off in the Boombas light chop and go for it. Great to see Jake going for it too.

Lowlight - the coffee run done by Auz was a very poorly timed :-)

Barge. Ka 7.5. FF24.

A fun afternoon down at the local. Didn't make it to the away mission down Yunder but managed to get 2 hours on my own on the water. Yoyo came for a look and a chat.  The tide was about 10 or 20 CM above optimum so a bit choppier than it's best in places but some nice runs along the bank.  Got a couple good tugs from some submarine weedburgs one of which tossed me over the front, luckily at very low speed. Overall really good fun in the sun, rain, rainbows and at the end, just as the wind was picking up nicely, the lightning. At which point I quickly packed it in.

Nice going guys, Swindy and Johnski so close together! Great NMs you two.

I spent the arvo at Abingdon village playing mini golf with an 8 year old, who came close to beating me.

PJ, I just checked my trailer - i had my kayak jacket hanging in there. Now I have taken it out, the trailer is still basking in an eerie glow and is quite warm inside...Surprised
