Tough day in the smooth with B2 who did really well in the trying/light conditions. Couldnt wait to get the new OD 7.0 wet knowing that 2with 10-13 knts it was going to be a hit and miss occasion....and it delivered just that. The fact that I got on the plane at all put a smile on my dial and my shoulders are aching from the pumping I had to put into the sail to get up and on the plane. Its not going to be my sub 15 knt sail thats for sure, but there was enough time on the water to know that these sails are dead set rippers. Bring on 15 - 20.

Benny really stood tall today. Pumped away and headed down wind and should have rolled me in the numbers above. Really nice session from the young man. Well done mate. Sun was out, water temp was awesome, just needed 2 or 3 more herbies!!!

Used: The Bludger, 7.0 OD, S10 47.

Light wind afternoon sail with B1.  Looked promising on arrival with plenty of white caps to be seen.  Was quite deceptive though- we had to head way out wide to find a few more knots.

Billy was super keen to try out his new Severne OD 7m sail.  Unfortunately the wind gods decided to have today off...  Was hard yakka to get up on the plane.  Lots of pumping was the order of the day.  The extra 0.8m I had on my sail over B1's definately helped to get through the lulls, albeit very challenging...

So chuffed to be able to sail in winter with boardies, blue skies, good company & warm weather...  Even more chuffed to be called a "young man"!!  Apologies B1 for the delayed post- I had to don the apron & cook dinner Laughing

Used Exocet 135 Severne OD 7.8 BP Sabre 42.5
