very peaky. was epic when I got there. perfect angle. Got a few runs in but no wind on the bank for any of them... then a Fairy Turned the wind SW so the run was square and it promptly switched off. Waited for about an hour for the next squall and got a few slingshots in for fastest runs. A few moments of joy. Needed another couple of good runs to make the 5x10 better. Next time :)
Edit: M47 5.5m, Tribal 19.5 asy. No weight.
Wind graph shows why I rigged the 5.5m and note the prompt shutdown. Best runs were all at ~4:15 to 4:25 when a squall came through. Of similar strngth to the 7 hours before I hit the water. DOH!
Best run was a slingshot off the bank adjacent to the island. was pretty bumpy out further.. I pulled back up to the bank and got a second slingshot in the corner for another 44 on the same run. Sadly that was the only decent gust where I got powered up. Next run was a 43 and then it died completely for over an hour.
A lot of standing around. I had to wade all the way back from the island... I stink like mud now.
Couldnt get there earlier sadly.
