A real short session with Boz and the Mandurah crew. Had a few runs with the NP v8 6.2 felt overpowered and decided to try the NP evo 5m expecting the wind to strengthen. I was wrong and spend most of the session trying to keep on the plane. Happy to have got a sail at least. Manta 59 ws29

On the cold side today, feet frozen hands frozen but fun little session with the Mob and Mark, more chin wag than sailing conditions were getting better wind had swung and tide was going out but too cold for me, I think I should follow fangys leed and put on a few extra kilosLaughing now I know why he sails the bargeWink

Definately wild, windy and rough as guts. Then it shut down.

The first 800m from the beach I was hammered with 40 knots ( out of nowhere) and rain. My board and rig was blown about 10 m from me... not the most welcoming of starts and put me on edge for the rest of the sail.

I made my way to Pt Walter (but nothing going on there) and back to Melville.

Great to catch up with you today Boz. I am not sure if I heard it correctly above the wind noise, but I gotta say, your story about falling off the Mardis Gras float and 'bruising your coccyx', was brilliant. Foot in mouthLaughingLaughing

Giday Dave, the v8 is good when you’re not over powered. It’s then becomes unstable and hard to control. Cheers Mark
