Scary morning on the water, after 7 months with out being on the water. Slowly slipped back into the groove. Good to be out with the boys again. It was like old times! With Cookie, Dave and Izaak.

Well what a session! First run down, bang! a 40 Surprised Chickened out on 3 massive gusts. Just not enough time on water to feel settled. But pumped to see a 45.2 on the dial! Some Huge Squalls! Biggest winds i have seen in a long time here at home! Great morning on the water with the boysCool Overall 10 runs over 40! What could have been, if a few sessions before hand under the belt.

Port Sorrell, TAS, AU, Well i managed to completely stuff that session up. Tried to sail up the run, the wind died a bit so i fell in.

Ended up on the wrong bank so tried my skill at sand castle building.

Eventually got back to the right side and that was it.

Well done Izaak and perks it looked like fun

Very little sailing lately, so a bit of a shock to the system suddenly being on a small board and sail in super windy conditions.  Piked out on at least one good squall thinking it was just too insane!  Did hook into one good run, but didn't go for it off the wind enough as it just looked too choppy and I wasn't keen to go for a swim!

Well done to Perks and Izaak, saw both their fastest runs and they were gutsy efforts, so very well deserved. I thought you would have had a spot record on that run of yours Isaak as it looked super quick!

Only a few options for a run down the bar when it was windy, so bummer you missed most of it Cookie.  As it was i only got three runs in, plus a sail back to the shore at the end in just enough wind.

We also had heavy rain, freezing cold, lightning and thunder - no hail though Laughing

All in all, a good day!  Just need to be more sailing fit next time!!

Nice shot of the run Dave, some of the first runs there were 40’s. It was super flat water then

I've got video of that run (very poor quality) and it did look pretty quick.  Don't seem to be able to post the video here, but the youtube link is:  https://youtu.be/qo-Vg6374Hc
