Holloways with Benny...unexpected and a late start...on the water about 3:10 and wind was very easterly....what wind there was.Undecided

Benny was already on the water (With Billy's assistance) and helped me set up as well......(Thank you Billy) although not moving

very well. I was dredging along and Benny flew passed me....obviously had not read the scriptYelland sailed well in the very light conditions.

Certainly looked comfortable and probably have the numbers to back it. He was just looking for a sail and probably would have sailed

in no wind.

Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

Late afternoon little desperado sail with Freddo who was very kind to join me Wink.  B1 met us down at the beach to have a little looksy and was also very kind in helping rig up allowing for a really quick set up.  Many thanks Billy-  I needed that extra energy to pump away out on the water today in the light winds... Laughing

As Freddo reported, light Easterly winds, approx 10-14kn.  Very Easterly in fact-  probably the first time I've sailed off Holloways with runs pretty much parallel with the beach!  Got a lucky little gust and managed to sneak up on Freddo and blast past him which is a rarity.  I think the extra 1.3m of sail really helped in the conditions... Cool

Really wanted to get out on the water today to work off some kg's I may have gained from celebrating my good mate Johnnie McGlashen's wedding celebrations held over the past few days.

Soothed the itch- as Ed would say "I guess it was work rigging up for!" Smile
