Holloways beach with Billy,Peter and Peter from Tassie. Great sail and Billy looked the goods and should take home the chocolates.

He was holding a 7.8 and still appeared very comfortable.Cool

Not a lot of wind inclose initially but was nice outwide although jibing for me was an issue.....swimming has come along nicely.

Wind was better than expected.....very rarely are those words used for Holloways but it was good.

Great to catch up with Peter from Tassie who is out to the reef tomorrow and heading home on Thursday. (drive safely)

Thats as good as the "Wallow Pit" gets. Not a cloud in the sky, outgoing tide, 15-20 kts, breeze all the way to the sand. Cracking. Sailed with Freddo, Tassie Pete and our Pete. It was a real Severne showing today with 3 out of the 4 sails bearing the Red Boomerang - Foxy would have had a smile. Fred, as always, was the odd one out Tongue out . Breeze was solid out wide and had 29.19 on the dial but just couldnt crack that 30 again and today was just about perfect for doing it. Frustratingly I kept on missing quality opportunities to really crank it hard off the breeze or you would get a burst and then immediatley the intensity would drop away. Great arvo though. I think Tassie Pete will rest well tonight and it gave Fast Fred a chance to wash the dust of his CA again.

Well, a bit of a mess up here today - the promise of 20 knot breezes didn't quite work out.  Rigged 7.2m V8 and didn't have enough sail - rigged North S type 7.8m and things were still a bit light on for a half an hour.  Then the breeze filled in around 4pm.  Blew out my third panel so have to drop into Mal Richardson for a top class repair.  Seemed the wind had picked up a bit so tried the V8 again - had some nice runs but not enough and it was a frustrating hour with alot of foul language.  Still the sun was shining.  I don't know where our season has gone - after a great start it seems that the last six weeks have provided meagre pickings.

Well done guys looks like it was a nice day on the water with some good numbers. Yer Billy is now a marked man🎯. Freddie glad to hear your swimming is improving. you don’t even get wet most of the time. Shame about your sail Andrew. But at the end of the day our toys are here for a good time not a long time. 😝
