Nice to get a quick blast after work. Thanks lovely wifey for getting the kids today.

I think I missed the best of it by just about half an hour but still a few good gusts before it died off.

Decided on Soldiers Cove and was very pleasantly surprised.  The wind seemed too south so wasn't sure about the angle on the bank but the few runs I did do felt really good, just wanted a few more good gusts. Felt like the angle was good and with more power there would be plenty more speed to be had.

I had a look at Fangy's but with the high tide it was moguls and weedburgs everywhere.  At least I assume that what the seagulls were standing on between the moguls was weedburgs.  Decided to give that a miss.

Thanks guys, just a bit of fun. Mike, it was a gusty day I think, but seemed fine when it was in.  I could not quite make the beat back in 1 tack if I ran the whole length of the bank.

Craig I was thinking of going to Liptons but guessed on the high tide it might not be great and with the limited time I had figured I'd sail closer to home.
