First time ever to sail at Floras Lake. Forecast looked pretty good so I decided to check it out for once. Wind was 16-28 knots, average 23 when I was in the water. Too gusty for such a short speed run. First part of the lake has no wind due to some trees, so there is only about 100 meters available before having to turn super deep to extend the run by few more seconds. 100 ltr board worked perfect, 6.3 sail was too small except in a gust. Locals say that water level is much higher in spring and early summer which would extend the speed run by maybe 50 meters or so. Probably not enough to make it work
