Fun little session at the Wallow Pit this arvo - It was definately the FNQ Chapter of the Sunday Severne Riders Club today with B2 and The Captn all to post results. Kel owned it today - he was charging around in a very Easterly breeze - 15 ish most of the arvo, with the odd bullet real early in the piece. I just couldnt get comfy today. Pretty sure B2 was in the same boat. For and ocean that hasnt had a lot of breeze to churn it up in the last week or so, it sure was rough early on in the session.

Still, great to be out. Cant wait for the expected forecast tomorrow to arrive - Happy days, again. Hoping today was just a warm up.

Used: The Bludger, 7.8 OD R4, 47 S10.

A bit out of sorts today...  Just couldn't get it together!  Started off with a bit of a walk out due to the super low tide only to realise I didn't tighten the board vent screw.  Arghhh, back to the beach it was to sort that out...  Wind looked very promising on arrival, so rigged the 7.8 OD to go with the Futura 122 and BP Sabre 42.5 fin.  Thought I was going to be overpowered!  How wrong I was...

First couple of runs were fun, then the wind decided to die down for the rest of the session.  Spent far more time off the plane than I would have liked!!

B1 looked to be handling things better than I- got me with a close drive-by which resulted in me muttering a couple of obscenities Laughing

Kel rocked up a bit after B1 & I hit the water- then scooted around with ease confirming his dominance and Captaincy!  Still scratching my head as to how he easily manages to nearly crack 30kn in bugger all wind and a choppy sea...

Definately not a top ten day, but still nice to get out on the water Cool
