8-15kts ENE Coal Point, NSW, AU

 7.5m GT turbo - RS$ ( 111ltre) - 43cm makani weedy

Quite a pleasant sail . The first 1/2- 3/4hr I was planing but it died after that and on the plane occasionally. A bit chopped up by boat wake  and there was about 20-30 yachts racing in the Green point - Toronto area but none came past Coal.

I was planing along and noticed Brent & Steve wallowing about on their foils.. I hoped like hell that the gust would last long enough to get past and it did Laughing so I yelled " get a decent board!!" as I flew past.. Soon after they had taken off and were flying across the wind 2 ' above the water as I bash bash bashed my way through the chop.. Mmm maybe I should get a decent board?? LaughingWink

Andrew and Tony out on their foils. I was the only windsurfer.

Marmong Point, NSW, AU

Now that was a miserable arvo at Marmong. Had it not been for the pleasure of seeing my sailing buddies again l would say it wasnt worth it!...however, stop complaining...

I got on the foil maybe twice thats all while Barry has planned away from all of us. As we were coming in l noticed the breeze from the NE and thought maybe ok. Well, that is what made it worth wile. I got some real nice foiling at last untill l fell in the water. Its just too cold  for me as yet.Better luck next week!

Good to be back!
