Macey's Run, QLD, AU 120 Gecko, 7.1 KA Race, 38 Drake

Tried a new spot...  1 1/2hrs of slopping through thigh-deep mud, swiming, going backwards, swearing, being startled by dugongs, turtles, rays....BOTH WAYS!!!!

12-14kts but has potential.

Macey's Run, QLD, AU

Mission out to Macey's run with Mikey and Tristan. Hard work getting out but it was worth it. Nice long runs in smooth water. Not quite enough wind for a planing gybe.

I am surprised you fellas had enough wind, guess there is quite a bit more on light northerly days that end of the bay.

Ian and myself just about sailed over that spot on the Southeaster last Sunday out of Wynnum so might be a little friendlier access point than your mission by the sound of it.
