Good to be in the water with Chris and Vando despite the variable conditions. Good workout off and on the plane and then hit with a gust.

Broke a mast base tendon at the end. Glad it happened on coming in with redundancy rope tied in!

A challenging sail this afternoon. Started with the 7.1 and was worked over by a 25kt squall on the first run. I dropped the gybe and then took 15 minutes to water start. Headed backed back in and changed down to the 6.3. The wind was cycling from 10 to 25kts, so I dredged a bit, but at least was comfortable in the squals. The water slowly improved as the tide went out and the wind was 20+ for the last hour. Chris was on fire today. He had 90km on the clock before I rigged and finished with a distance PB. Well done.

As good as it could be in really horrid conditions. Cold heavy rain, gusty up and down wind, good company. You left at the right time Mikey.

Had a pretty hard crash after a spin out during one of the few overpowered moment towards the end. Ice pack on the neck feels pretty good.

On hoildays so ended up going for a little drive to escape the rain.

Ended up being a nice day but the North Easterly was just too light and I really need some practice to get used to a Delta fin!

SandstoneP Point, QLD. 144 starboard carve, 7.7 gaastra, 43cm fin, then 6m North. Thanks Mr Keen and Mickey for joing sunday. we sailed it saturday too, on np6.7m but had to bin sail after session (3 panels went) so did not post. Great bunch of folk sail Sandstoone. Supportive bunch. They really send it. I think I did more like 22knots (no biggies, as did not have watch on all the time, few sessions forgort as well). I was also saving battery given we were there from about 08:45 to 16:30. Great place to sail.
