sboardcrazy (24363km): 5-23kts NNE Wallis Lake, NSW, AURS4 ( 111ltre)- 43cm makani weedy then 7.5m GT turbo -RS4 - 43 Well I feel like I wasted today. 7m at first and the gusts were good but too many lulls so after an 1.30hr odd came in and put the big 7.5m on...yeah... It had really kicked in ( Andrew was really powered on his 7m).. Survived ok even tried some reaching, sail cranked over and crouched down to stop tthe gusts throwing me over the front. Would have been fun on smaller gear.. Hit a thick weedberg and slow mo catapult into the sail. It was fun but could have been much better on the 87 and 6.2m...thought about going back out but thought it would die.. still howling now at 8pm! Hopefully smaller gear tomorrow.
