2001 days ago Mallacoota, VIC, AU Well you know when you are surfing and everbody is catching waves and you arnt. Well thats how Isacc made me feel today. Everywhere he went he was in the wind. When the wind picked up and we were all over powered i thought it was smart to unrig the 6.6 and put up the 5.7KA, only to watch Isacc sail on and then the wind backed off. I think i know why Chinaman went into retirement now, chasing bloody Isacc around trying to beat him is very frustrating. A career on the water and in the wind will give you that advantage i guess. Good fun was still had at GWS with one of my better crashes thanks to the Delta i was sold for way to much. Old codger had a red hot crack today and was the fastest i think i have seen him go, well done OC. As for you Isacc your day will come!!!!!!!.

Some fun slalom racing and a few speed runs after. Thanks IWC and SHQ for putting on the event. Happy with this speed in the conditions and more than happy with the speed Spotti did on the Masterblaster 66

Out on the Sands with Isaak and Vonpat in some testing conditions. The rivary between the two of them is well and truly alive. Telling lies to each other and using me as the sounding board. Isaak was like a man possessed and Vonpat was like, well, Vonpat.
Great fun had by all.

1997 days ago 1 categories Inverloch Area45, some fun races first up on the 6.3KaRace Mistral112 CLTribal 37, plenty of wind to chase down the wave gear crew to the finish -no gps.
Mr Love sent us out later with GPS on his Atomic Master Blaster 66, 6.3Race & my Tribal WSpd' 27 for some speed as the tide dropped and a bit of a bank appeared. It was not at the right angle but you could sail across the channel chop and kiss the edge of it for 50m before heading out into the other channels chop that we raced on earlier.
Thanks to IWC, SHQ, Bass Shire for assisting, running the event, BBQ was top notch and so was the desert with many a speed sailors food vices met, yes and there was also salad for those that want to go slower

IWC event sponsored by SHQ.
Strong Westerly winds!! 20-25 gusting close to 30Kts
Sailed the first slalom race with 5.4m on JP 54 Slalom. Wild and rough! Really tested my lack of sailing fitness.
When the tide dropped and exposed a sand bar I went out on the 5.2m 2019 Prototype on the CA40 speed board. Was just winding up (Not sure if I was warming up or wearing out?) when I started what promised to be a scorching run. Accellerating hard at 35 knots and hit 100cm deep water. BAM! Best catapult I have had for years. Luckily no damage to me but i broke both my harness line and the outhaul rope - which is a first for me! Thanks to the Invy crew for checking on me and helping out! . After that I decided I'd had enough for the day.
Thanks to Kato for lending me his Spare GT-31. I have umpdeen GPS's and they were all left at Sandy Point. Old man disease!
JP 42 Slalom, 5.4m KA koncept, lessacher LW Duo 25 Rake30. Then CA40, 16cm tribal speed and 2019 Proto 5.2m Koncept.
