Windfoil, Majestic Point

Met Kenny at Majestics for another fine foil with a slightly stronger than expected breeze.

Good to see JJ out there enjoying the boat lumpyness.

There were a couple of other foilers too that i didnt recognise

Cheers for the beer Kenny

Foilville

Late arvo foil sesh in 15-18K.

Patrik F2 + 7.4 Koyote.

Second sesh was better than the first, I managed a few pretty long flights.  Still lots of nose dives, but I'm getting better at recovering from them without falling off.  Also lots of 'Ker-splat' moments, as you can see on my track below.  Overall a fun little sesh and I'm getting more confident, but I still feel like a kook Embarassed

Hey Greg, Lunny and I were wondering who the other foiler was - it looked like you were getting long flights Cool

Jesper and I were out from 4:30 for an hour or so...it was probably Jesper Wink

I definitely managed a few decent flights around 300-400m. Cool

Did you get in the straps ok on the Patrik?

I got the front foot in a couple of times, but I was a bit wary of getting in the straps due to the frequent nose dives!

Chicken or egg...you might not nose dive as much with your feet in the straps Smile

Fair enuff JJ, intuitively getting my weight further aft should off-set the tendency to nose-dive, so I'll give it a try next time Wink
