Coodanup, WA, AU Fun in the Sun with Mike.

Played silly buggers in the paths dredged through the weed. I am surprised by the way they they persist, staying reasonably clear in the same location from week to week. I guess it will take a storm to destroy them. In the meantime sailing these paths is lots of fun.

Not quite so much fun today. Wind looked very promissing when I arrived, so went with the trust 53, 6.2 and 20@55d. As soon as I started rigging the wind started to drop off, come back a bit, drop off a bit, come back a bit. But I held faith, and stayed with what I'd started.

Faith wasn't justified, should have gone with the 65, 6.6 and 21, still wouldn't have been fantastic but the loat time wouldn't have been as high.

BUT, 22kts through the channel was still fun.

I came and down and watched you two for a bit...your downhills almost got me inspired to rig, but then I saw your uphill plod and thought that if you two were making the wind look a bit light on, I would have no chance. Fingers crossed for Sunday.Laughing
