Crazy NE with gusts in excess of 30 knots. Chop was harsh to say the least.

Not much fun out there today. More like survival sailing.

Strong wind by late morning, went out on the 5.5 which was ok but there were full on gusts lifting me out of the water at times on the runs across the other side, and very rough water, so went up to the top canal where the water was flat but no wind, then dropped down to the middle canals for a few runs with the captain, not too flat there either. hooley dooley it was a windy day. Had a quick go on the new 4.5 ncx at the end, felt very powerful and should be good for the days when the guys are on their small 5's Cool. Plenty out sailing on a Tuesday

Sanctuary Point, NSW, AU a ballistic n/easter, arrived as Dezza was rigging a 5.5, so the desicion was an old evo111 5.5 i can undersand why N/P only made these sails for one season but after saying that i could be useing the sail on days where i would have used a 5/8

some big mogals  ouit past the shallow marker but didn't seam to bother Dezza and great sailing in the slop and a bit much for this old fella , hopefully another n/easter tomorrow

That would have to be the craziest NE breeze I've sailed in at SP...

Big speed in that water TP and Captain, the team cycling fitness regime is paying off
