BEST SESSION EVER!

Koombana Bay Paradise sail.

Great crew out today enjoying KB, with everyone having a great smile on their face during and after the sail.

Noel was down there trying to drown a severe case of Man flu but ended up just flying around everywhere rather than drowning it.

Stropp was doing what Stropp does, blasting around every where and woo hooing everytime you sail past him.

Ratz turned up later and handled the increased breaze and gustyness with aplomb and the occasional dent in the water.

Simon was also ripping all around the bay, even stealthed me onceYell and took out the crash of the day.

John (Bunbury local) was out there coming to grips with the new kit.

If Stretch popped his cherry today with the foily goodness and at the end of the day on borrowed kit he was sailing like an old tart.

Me I just had a ball flying around all over the place.

What a way to spend an arvyCool

YOU HOOOO!! Sensational day at the bay,  It was all happening John on his second trip out getting to grips with his kit, Ratz flying and then not flying, Noel

on meds and still flying around, Alby rigging big as Alby does and in control well most of the time, Strop Just gunna send it and that was everywhere. And then Stretch on loaned gear flying with good flight time, How...Tongue out

I tried out my new front Warp speed wing, "Make it so Mr Sulu "  with its write up saying for the experienced high wind foiler.. Yea obviously not, got stack of the day trying to follow Strop.  Loved the feel of the wing, all in good time.

Cheers for the beer Rob and Noel for jellybeans.

Life is good

Boggy Lake, SA, AU

SSW 13-18 knots-Mistral 137-Loft Blade 7.8m-C3 Sting2 36 cm

Crowds showed up today, so many cars packed in, a sight not seen for years! A ton of Ezzy sails to, wtf....

Had thoughts of sailing upwind to Milang but the water state was a washing machine of nastiness in Lake Alexandria when the wind kicked up, being maxed and then having to jump waves on the downhill back was scary.

Making it back to the confines of Boggy makes this place feel like kindergarden. Stayed up top with Chris D smoking fast upwind and reaches.

Great day:-)

Great fun getting out with foil crew at KBay. Big thanks to Slugger for letting me try his kit. Also to Rat for giving me a go on his as well. Thanks for the beer 🍺 too Rat 👍. Also thanks to Strop for loaning me a harness. Foiling is certainly a very different sensation and skill set, so cool to be motoring along in light winds 😎. I certainly made a few dents, but had fun doing it! 😎 ...oh, and defo stack of the day to Slug. That was a Ripa splat!!!

Whaaat! Elmo didn't make the biggest dent??!! Please tell me someone had a camera! Sounds like a good time was had by all and well done for providing some entertainment for the general public while they had a coffee or two.

Yeah, I know thats how impressive it was, the moored 30-40ft cruiser which got hit by the splash shock waves thought they were under attack untill the saw this mad Englishman resurface in spa like conditions, parents were running for kids caught in the resultant small tsunamis.

We all cheeredLaughing It was that goodCool
