Peter (48215km):
1947 days ago Kennedy Slicks, Cape Cod. Missed the strong wind in the morning due to a dentist appointment. By the time I got on the water, the wind had turned too westerly, so the wind line was 200 m out. Usually not a big deal, except that the weight of the 6 mm rubber + extra layers made the 99 l board sink like a stone, and the mittens made sailing out with little wind quite tedious. Fortunately, the wind dropped at the end of my third run, giving me a good reason to keep the session very short.
Got some accelerometer data from the phone to see if the spikes in the GPS speeds are real, and it does indeed look so. Details at http://boardsurfr.blogspot.com/2018/11/the-shaking-is-real.html
