Sailed at Holloways with Benny. Gaz turned up for a gasbag and look see. Wind was up and down as anticipated with light showers

coming thru. Felt sorry for Benny today as he lost his watch gps coming out of the water on completion of the session.....sh#t.

And he looked to be having a reasonable session as well.Yell Water was dirty and rough but managed to get a couple of runs in.

Lake Cootharaba, QLD, AU. Very light gusty easterly, needed a bigger board today, plenty out sailing.            114/35/8.6 O/d

Short little arvo sesh off Holloways.  Pretty much just as Freddo reported- had a bit of fun out in the rough waters... Managed to get some good runs in.  More South in the wind again...  Think we came in just at the right time as the wind seemed to drop off as we were derigging.  Had an interested French couple greet Freddo & I- they were very excited to let us know they had managed to get a nice photo while we were out there sailing.  The couple offered to email the pic to me which was nice. Smile

Pity I can't provide any data - 2nd GW60 watch now donated to the sailing gods...  Fellow sailors, please take note!

Came in from a run, quickly checked my time on the watch, then went for a 2nd look & bugger me, the watch was no longer on my wrist!!  Arrgghhhh YellCry Did a quick duck dive in hope but there was no chance in the murky water.  I feel the odds would have been like finding a needle in a haystack!!  One things for sure, I will not be wearing a GPS watch on my wrist for sailing ever again.  It will be a firmly secured armband from now on unless anyone's got a better idea...

Freddo seemed to have a bit of fun too...  Bless his enormous heart- he has offered his back up GPS to me until I get something quickly sorted.  Legend! Cool

Freddo thinks he may have pipped me in the performance stakes today, but one will never know... Wink

Planning on sailing off PD tomorrow- weather pending...
