10 -20kts ENE- NE Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU level c 0.32

7m M2 OD - RS4 - 24FF

then 7.5m GT turbo rs4 (111litre) 24ff

Tried the 7m for the first time.Finetuned the rigging and it looked good..really light and powerful.  I had a new boom and harness lines and the lines didn't feel right but it may have just been not enough wind.

Few gusts in the flats ,enough to go but nothing much near Buff so came in and got the 7.5m. Much better!

It came in generally for a while and I could probably have been on the 7m ,87ltre for a while but I was going for an hr.

2 stacks at the end..hit a weedberg mid gybe, the rig stirred all the black ooze up and silly me did an open mouthed faceplant into the muck and swallowed some. 😖 Yuck!! Memories of Lake George 2015..I won't do that again. Undecided

Other one I somehow rehooked  after the rigflip and ended up on top of the sail with a twisted line..Undecided

Really felt the lift of the 24ff today. Great combo for the conditions although not fast.I was going to come in for the 7m - 87ltre but it had swung NE and it was only in the chop so I took the big kit out for a few more runs across in the chop although it was getting to the top end of that combo by then.

Heaps out , Frothie , Matt , Mick ,Norm , Dave ,Mick and many others.A nice way to avoid the heat. 39 degrees at home - 27 at Budgy.Smile
