7.5m GT Turbo - RS4 ( 111ltre) - 39cm C3 sting pointer

 then 1 run RS2 ( 90ltre) - 6.2m M2OD (1st use) - 33 select pointer - Board PB for Lake Macquarie

I didn't sleep well last night and was a bit of a zombie today..Went out on the big gear and should have been on the 90ltre - 7m combo.. Hard work with the big kit..Tried a few runs at the sand islands but I wasn't sailing well and the board felt very draggy.. Realised the pointer fin was ploughing through the thick weed..Undecided Scary trip back across..

Rigged the 6.2m for the first time. It had come in and turned more NE.I thought I wouldn't have enough with the 6.2m but I could probably have used the 5.5m and an 80ltre..I wasn't sure the sail would rotate so I just aimed for the shallows on the other side so I could test it. I had trouble but there wasn't much wind where I stopped .It had been good over at the island but it had got very patchy..So the juries out..I'll see how it goes in stronger / clear wind and if I still have issues I'll take a spacer out. It has a lovely grunty shape and it'snice and light..

Just run back in but it's a board PB for the lake so I'm very happy with that. It seemed a pity to waste such good wind but I was just too tired..well I got to try my new boom and sail.. Love the boom..Smile

Hopefully I can feel better tomorrow and make better use of the wind..I don't know how Greg held onto the foil in those winds and Andrew I wouldn't call it light at the end! It was 20kts plus..Surprised

Andrew , Greg and I with an appearance by Byron on the foil.

s2 venom 7.7 foil  and falcon 115

foiled up to coal point as not much wind half way up wind went from 12 to 20 knots way overpowered on foil but scary fun coming home peaking at 25 plus knots on foil hard to keep it down just to much lift at these speeds .

got back to shingles got the 115 out and of course the wind backed off as soon as I got on the water but still another great day of sailing.
